About The Stable Grounds

The Stable Grounds Inc. is a specialized residential and day treatment facility to support First Responders/PSP's/Military/Veterans and now Executives (scheduled separate from FR groups) experiencing Post Traumatic Stress Injury (PTSI), anxiety, depression, addiction and other illness or injuries. We offer a unique range of treatment options including but not limited to CBT, EMDR and Equine-Assisted Learning.

 At The Stable Grounds Inc. we are an interdisciplinary team that develops individualized and cohesive care plans which builds on each discipline’s expertise, knowledge and skills to achieve common, shared goals with our guests.

Through interdisciplinary co-facilitation of groups and activities, we achieve consistency in treatment language, education,  and skill development that is coordinated with the guests progress; in order to maximize the quality of their healing outcomes, develop self-preservation skills and establish a safety plan to help prevent further post traumatic stress injuries.

The interdisciplinary team consists of and not limited to Psychologist, Masters level Social Workers, Psychotherapists, Equine Mental Health Professional, Equine Specialists, Registered Recreation/Occupational Therapists, Nurse Consultants, Addiction Counsellors, Yoga and Meditation Facilitator, Dietitian and Executive Chef.
